About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the operations and processes across the Bunge value chain. You will work within crush, refine, packaging, or grain elevator facilities to develop a foundation in operational management. The program follows a 70/20/10 learning model, emphasizing hands-on experience alongside informal and formal instruction.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the day-to-day operations of a Bunge facility.
- Perform functions across departments including EHS, material handling, crush, refine, packaging, lab, and warehouse operations.
- Assist staff in evaluating changing operational conditions.
- Travel to various Bunge locations for training and professional exposure.
- Demonstrate your knowledge by responding to inquiries from mentors and supervisors.
- Maintain a food safety culture and comply with all regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical, or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in standard PC applications.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and changing demands.
- Willingness and ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.

- Term: Winter 2027 (approximately 16 weeks).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Location: Harrowby, Manitoba, with travel required to other Bunge sites.
- Schedule: Standard hours are typically 8 AM to 5 PM, subject to change based on site requirements.
