About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern at KENT WORLDWIDE, you will gain hands-on experience across key areas of the supply chain. You will work on projects that support real business needs, learn from experienced professionals, and build skills in inventory, transportation, supplier relationships, and strategic planning.
What you'll do#
- Support projects that strengthen supply and demand planning processes.
- Create and update AX system work instructions and assist with training efforts.
- Help improve the flow of materials and information across the supply chain.
- Partner with the team to maintain planning applications through data validation and report generation.
- Analyze ERP data to develop reports and recommendations that enhance supply chain performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
- Support Sales and Operations Planning activities including data gathering and demand analysis.
- Assist with projects related to procurement, transportation, contract administration, and inventory management.
- Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety by following all company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial).
- A data-driven approach to problem solving.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions for follow-up reporting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
