About the role#
This position supports dining operations at Centerpointe. You will assist with daily tasks ranging from food preparation to inventory management. This role is open to students who want to gain practical experience in a food service environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize work stations.
- Replenish food items and maintain stock levels.
- Assist with inventory and general customer service.
- Train and guide staff on job duties and food safety procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Cal Poly Pomona student in good academic standing.
- Major in Nutrition or Kinesiology.
- At least 6 months of job-related experience.
- Previous food service experience.
- Current food safety certification.
