About the role#
As a Process Management Intern, you will focus on the design, management, and optimization of business processes. You will work with extended teams across the enterprise to ensure that our business processes perform optimally, meeting specific quality, time, and cost goals. You will also have the chance to join social networking events and connect with other process managers across the business.
What you'll do#
- Play a key role in the lean transformation at Capital One.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute marketing and operations strategies.
- Use management skills, including communication and change leadership, to drive priorities like product launches and technology changes.
- Apply techniques and tools to define and improve processes, such as Lean, Six Sigma, and variation reduction.
- Work on waste elimination and risk mitigation to ensure consistent process performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited Canadian university, with an expected graduation date in or after 2027.
- Pursuit of a degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and environments.

- Modality: Hybrid (requires 3 days per week in the office).
- Status: This is a paid, full-time internship.
