About the role#
The Premium Administrator Student provides service to customers and internal business partners regarding billing for Group Benefits products. You will support the receipt and reconciliation of premium payments, maintain accurate group payment records, and work with internal financial departments. This role involves managing commission administration, ASO and HSA product support, and service provider payments.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and verify premium reporting and payments to ensure they balance to client general ledger accounts.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reporting and payments.
- Initiate new advisor setups and revisions, including reviewing commission schedules.
- Perform monthly contribution, tax, and expense transfers.
- Prepare reconciliations for all HSA/ASO general ledger accounts.
- Review and authorize invoice payments and premium refunds.
- Prepare accounting entries for the Finance department.
- Manage statistical balancing, active group counts, and movement processes.
- Provide client service for billing-related questions and develop reports for forfeitures and outstanding balances.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance program.
- Experience with Excel, Word, and Access.
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills to evaluate information and propose solutions.
- Attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
- An understanding of accounting principles and technical experience are considered assets.

- Location: Regina, Saskatchewan.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (2 days in office).
- Term: 16 weeks (rolling).
- Status: Full-time and paid.
