About the role#
As a BI Intern, you will work on projects within our Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence teams. You will collaborate with mentors to build your career foundation while developing your analytical skills and knowledge of the insurance industry. This is a full-time, paid internship available for Winter or Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Strengthen the claims process by integrating real-time analytics into our systems.
- Extract, cleanse, reconcile, and prepare data for analytical solutions.
- Solve business problems using data science, programming, statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
- Build data engineering pipelines and create dashboards to deliver advanced analytics.
- Design and create data models.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Good written and oral communication skills in both English and French.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing environments.
- Experience with R, Python, SQL, or other pricing tools is an asset.

- Location: Montreal, Quebec.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (2 days in office).
- Duration: 16 weeks.
- Compensation: Starting at $30 per hour.
- Additional: This role is subject to a background check.
