About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support our team in maintaining high occupancy rates and providing excellent service to our residents. This role involves balancing administrative tasks with direct interaction with prospective and current residents. You will work on-site in College Park, Maryland, and assist with daily community operations.
What you'll do#
- Deliver high-quality customer service to all residents and visitors.
- Complete lease applications and manage lease file paperwork.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies.
- Participate in the Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification.
- Help plan and execute community events.
- Assist with administrative front desk duties and general community projects.
- Perform on-call duties, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds, as required.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college studies.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and access all areas of the property.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
