About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support our leasing team in maintaining high occupancy levels. You will act as a primary point of contact for residents and prospective clients, ensuring that our community remains welcoming and well-managed. This role requires a balance of administrative work and direct customer interaction.
What you'll do#
- Provide high quality customer service to residents and prospective clients.
- Answer incoming leasing calls to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Complete lease applications and manage lease file paperwork.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
- Assist with the planning and execution of community events.
- Participate in required training programs and assist with various community projects.
- Handle on-call duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college or university coursework.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and reside on the assigned floor.
