About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will work to reach occupancy goals by retaining current residents and leasing available apartment homes. You will serve as a customer service ambassador and collaborate with your team to maintain the community. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and answer leasing calls.
- Determine the needs of residents and present the community.
- Complete lease applications and manage lease file paperwork.
- Maintain accurate file documentation according to company policy.
- Help plan and host community events.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with residents, vendors, and team members.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Preference for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Real Estate.
