About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the daily operations of our residential community. You will help maintain high occupancy levels through resident retention and leasing efforts. This role requires a professional approach to customer service and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
What you'll do#
- Manage lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Handle administrative front desk duties and greet prospective residents.
- Participate in the Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification process.
- Assist with planning community events and various site projects.
- Perform on-call duties, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college studies.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and access all areas of the property.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and live on-site.
