About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the daily operations of our residential properties. You will work to maintain high occupancy levels by assisting with leasing efforts and providing service to our residents. This role requires a team-oriented approach and the ability to handle both administrative tasks and direct customer interactions.
What you'll do#
- Manage front desk administrative duties.
- Guide prospective residents through property tours using feature and benefit selling techniques.
- Process lease applications and manage lease file paperwork.
- Ensure all lease documentation remains accurate and follows company policy.
- Help plan and execute community events for residents.
- Assist with additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college studies.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be a current or future resident of the community and live in a designated unit.
