About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will focus on resident retention and filling apartment availability. This position requires a professional approach to customer service and a commitment to maintaining community standards. You will work on-site, assisting with daily operations and supporting the community team.
What you'll do#
- Act as a primary point of contact for residents and prospective clients.
- Handle administrative front desk tasks and manage lease paperwork.
- Maintain accurate lease file documentation according to company policy.
- Help plan and execute community events.
- Pass third-party leasing shops and complete required training modules.
- Assist with general community projects as assigned by the manager.
- Work evenings and weekends, including occasional on-call responsibilities.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of higher education.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder within the community.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property.
- A valid driver license.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week.

- Interns must re-apply for the position on an annual basis.
