About the role#
As a Resident Coordination Intern, you will focus on resident retention and leasing efforts. You will serve as a primary point of contact for current and prospective residents while contributing to the overall occupancy goals of the community.
What you'll do#
- Act as a customer service ambassador by providing support to residents and guests.
- Manage administrative front desk tasks and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Complete lease applications and related paperwork.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification programs.
- Assist with planning community events and various projects assigned by the Community Manager.
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with team members and vendors.
- Handle on-call responsibilities, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college studies.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and live in a designated unit.
