About the role#
This is a year-round internship based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You will support our manufacturing environment by assisting with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management. The program is paid and offers hands-on experience with production schedules, material availability, and capacity constraints.
What you'll do#
- Monitor production performance, capacity utilization, inventory levels, and raw material availability.
- Assist with raw material procurement activities.
- Manage inventory that supports the manufacturing process.
- Perform routine inventory audits to validate system accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Provide day-to-day support for the Procurement and Planning teams.
- Assist with ad hoc projects, data analysis, process improvements, and other supply chain initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Current status as at least a sophomore.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Preferred experience includes ERP, purchasing, and tools such as Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin (On-site).
- Terms: Winter 2027, Summer 2027, and Fall 2027.
- Schedule: Part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer.
- Employment type: Full-time (internship status).
