About the role#
The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership is looking for a Student Engagement Programming and Event Assistant. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Student Engagement and the Graduate Assistant for Student Engagement. This role is open to students majoring in Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.
What you'll do#
- Help train student organizations.
- Manage the event reservation process.
- Coordinate with campus groups like Facilities and IT.
- Staff office hours, some weekends, and late-night events.
What you'll need#
- You are self-motivated, reliable, and organized.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- You must be willing to become van certified if you are of age.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Work is on-site.
- This is a paid position.
- You cannot work more than 20 hours per week across all campus jobs during the academic year.
- Total work hours cannot exceed 980 per calendar year.
