About the role#
As a Risk Advisory Intern, you will join our team to help organizations manage risk and improve their internal controls. You will work with diverse clients across various industries to support their growth and operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in the consulting field by applying your academic coursework to real client situations.
What you'll do#
- Support the performance of risk and accounting consulting engagements.
- Assist with project quality control from planning and field work through to report composition.
- Provide recommendations to clients regarding risks in financial reporting, compliance, operations, and fraud.
- Resolve issues related to risk management, internal controls, and internal audit business process improvement.
- Build professional relationships with client personnel to meet engagement objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current junior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or CIS.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Interest in professional standards, internal controls, and information systems.
- Willingness to pursue professional designations such as CPA or CIA.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
