About the role#
As a State & Local Tax Intern, you will work directly with tax professionals to assist clients with sales tax advisory services. This role focuses on helping clients manage tax obligations and avoid overpayment risks through strategic planning and administrative support.
What you'll do#
- Perform data entry in Excel and organize client data files.
- Manage the receipt of correspondence with State tax agencies.
- Gather, manipulate, and analyze tax data.
- Research state tax statutes, regulations, and rulings.
- Interact with clients through on-site meetings, video calls, and project status reports.
- Verify work for accuracy and completeness.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work overtime during peak seasons.
- Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
