About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Please note that Cherry Bekaert does not provide work sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Complete valuation engagements for enterprise, debt, equity, and intangible assets.
- Apply standard valuation methodologies to business enterprise and debt engagements.
- Perform purchase price allocations for tax or financial reporting purposes under US GAAP.
- Analyze portfolio company audit results, financial covenants, and cash flow data.
- Assist in the development of discount rates (WACC).
- Conduct financial statement analysis and market research to support valuation reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- An interest in pursuing an advanced degree or certification such as an MBA, MS, ASA, ABV, or CFA.
