About the role#
Join the Global Markets team as a Winter Analyst for a 4-month term from January to April 2027. You will work within sales, trading, structuring, and research teams, focusing on cash and derivative products across foreign exchange, commodities, rates, equities, and more. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Toronto.
What you'll do#
- Deliver banking and investment solutions to retail, wealth, and business clients.
- Support senior professionals through financial modeling, detailed analysis, structuring, and research.
- Identify business opportunities, execute transactions, and automate existing processes.
- Develop new business initiatives and optimize existing workflows.
- Engage with clients to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Gain exposure to areas including Prime Services, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Electronic Trading, and Securitization.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, STEM, or a related program with a graduation date no sooner than August 2027.
- Strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and general coding practices.
- A record of academic success, teamwork, and extracurricular involvement.
- Effective written, oral, and presentation skills.
- A keen interest in financial markets.
- Experience with Python, VBA, or SQL is considered an asset.
