    About the role#

    The Student Experience Ambassador role is a Federal Work Study position based at Wilbur Wright College. This role allows students to gain practical experience while supporting the Office of Student Experience. Ambassadors work on-site to gather insights from the student body and assist with daily office operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct 1:1 or small-group empathy interviews with fellow students on specific topics.
    • Transcribe, organize, and submit interview notes using provided templates.
    • Support the implementation of student surveys.
    • Perform data operations and word processing in Word, Excel, and Qualtrics.
    • Provide general office support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
    • Collaborate with supervisors and other ambassadors to identify themes and project insights.
    • Attend mandatory training sessions on empathy interviewing and documentation.

    What you'll need#

    • Must be enrolled in at least 6 semester hours of pre-credit or credit classes at City Colleges of Chicago.
    • Must be part of the Students Financial Aid Program and approved for Federal Work Study.
    • Maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism during student interactions.
    • Successfully pass the hiring process, which includes a criminal background check and drug screening.

    • This position is located in Chicago, Illinois.
    • Work is performed on-site.
    • This is a part-time, paid role.
