About the role#
Companion Animal Clinic is an AAHA accredited practice located in Blacksburg, Virginia. We focus on companion animals and exotics. Our team includes six veterinarians and several licensed veterinary technicians. We maintain a No Poke Program to reduce stress for pets. The clinic features a surgical suite, a dental suite with dental x-ray, digital radiography, and ultrasound. We also offer medical and vacation boarding services.
What you'll do#
- Assist in veterinary clinical care for companion animals and exotics.
- Participate in wellness exams and dental procedures.
- Support veterinarians during surgeries and other operations.
- Help manage medical and vacation boarding.
- Engage in team collaborations and training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary school in a VMD or DVM degree path.
- Strong clinical skills in wellness and dentistry.
- Interest in working with exotics.
- Desire for mentorship and professional growth.
- Ability to connect with multiple VetEvolve practices.
