About the role#
The Field Operations Co-op supports superintendents and project managers with safety program administration, schedule analysis, and job site documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in White Plains, New York, for the Fall 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the administration of the project safety program to maintain a compliant work environment.
- Interpret contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation to provide technical assistance.
- Prepare daily reports and assist with weekly project activities.
- Participate in the quality assurance program by attending meetings and performing site inspections.
- Monitor onsite material deliveries and inventory to keep project progress moving.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities to support project timelines.
- Maintain project logs, RFIs, and tracking documents.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, Real Estate, or Construction Management.
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Basic understanding of construction scheduling and critical path method concepts.
