About the role#
The Yard Intern role provides hands-on experience in warehouse and logistics operations. You will support project sites through material management and equipment handling while contributing to process improvement initiatives. This position balances physical tasks with analytical work focused on operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify ways to support sustainability through new technologies and process changes.
- Assist with daily warehouse and yard operations.
- Gain exposure to the materials, tools, and equipment used on project sites.
- Provide customer service to project teams and job sites.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong preference exists for students studying Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related construction discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in construction management and logistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong initiative, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work in a team-oriented environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Milford, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $24 to $29 per hour.
