    About the role#

    As a Water and Wastewater Treatment Engineering Intern, you will work with our team in Phoenix to support the planning, design, and evaluation of treatment facilities. This role offers exposure to municipal infrastructure projects, including new facilities, expansions, and rehabilitation work. You will contribute to technical analyses and design efforts while gaining experience in multidisciplinary project delivery.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
    • Assist with treatment process evaluations, system sizing, and engineering calculations.
    • Prepare technical memoranda, feasibility studies, and planning documents.
    • Help develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
    • Collaborate with civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical team members.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
    • Completion of an undergraduate engineering degree.
    • Strong interest in water or wastewater treatment engineering.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
