About the role#
As an intern on the Global Accounting team, you will support month-end processes and various accounting projects. You will work under the guidance of team members to gain exposure to corporate accounting functions. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Draft journal entries in SAP and OneStream.
- Analyze intercompany transactions and prepare the necessary journal entries.
- Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review monthly financial reports to provide flux explanations by comparing current and historical data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Fixed Assets, FP&A, and TAaC.
- Participate in intern program events, including team building, goal setting, and project presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting Bachelor or Graduate degree program.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and basic finance concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Rochester, New York.
- The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
- This is a full-time internship with a rolling term.
