    About the role#

    This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to real projects while gaining experience in plant accounting. You will work on a specific, challenging problem that addresses actual needs within the facility. At the end of the summer, you will present your findings to the team and senior leadership. This role balances project work with daily tasks to help you understand the fundamentals of our processes.

    What you'll do#

    • Complete a project that addresses a real day-to-day problem for the department.
    • Perform background work to learn the fundamentals of plant accounting processes.
    • Present your project work to the team and senior leaders.
    • Participate in the development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts to drive out waste and maintain quality performance.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
    • Ability to use computers and standard software programs.
    • Physical ability to work on your feet for multiple hours and lift at least 10 pounds.
    • Willingness to work in various temperatures and wear required personal protective equipment.
    • Experience in manufacturing or the poultry industry is preferred.

    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
