About the role#
As an intern in our Global Accounting team, you will support corporate consolidations and gain exposure to the month-end close process. You will work on various assignments under the guidance of team members, participate in project work, and collaborate with cross-functional groups like FP&A and Technical Accounting. This position is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Draft journal entries in SAP and OneStream with support from the team.
- Analyze intercompany transactions and help prepare the necessary journal entries.
- Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review monthly financial reports to provide flux explanations by comparing current and historical activity.
- Assist the Global Accounting team with various ad-hoc projects.
- Attend team meetings regarding project updates and close status.
- Participate in internship program events, such as senior leader meetings and team-building activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Accounting or Finance Bachelor or Graduate degree program.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- A solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and U.S. GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
