About the role#
Coretek is looking for an AI & Automation Development Intern to join our consulting team. In this role, you will work directly with business stakeholders to build and deploy solutions that improve operational efficiency. You will gain hands-on experience across the Microsoft AI and automation ecosystem, including Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power BI. This position focuses on the full development lifecycle, from initial prototyping to final deployment.
What you'll do#
- Partner with internal departments to identify and scope processes for automation.
- Design, build, and refine AI-agent solutions.
- Apply generative AI models and prompt design to improve business workflows.
- Test solutions against real data and address inaccuracies before deployment.
- Document workflows, architecture, and design decisions for long-term maintenance.
- Communicate technical progress and impact to non-technical stakeholders.
- Research emerging technologies and share findings with the team.
- Collaborate with other interns to troubleshoot challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Self-motivated approach to owning projects from prototype to deployment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to automation platforms, Microsoft Cloud, or programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java is preferred.
- Experience with coding agents is a plus.

- Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
