About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap, gaining experience in store, district, and regional operations. This role prepares you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist while you support our pharmacy teams in delivering quality care.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy operations and ensure prescription fulfillment is prompt, safe, and accurate.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and company policies to maintain safety and patient privacy.
- Provide caring service to patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
- Assist with immunizations and patient care services as permitted by law and training.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences.
- Assist with inventory tasks such as cycle counts and medication deliveries.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern and/or technician licensure.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.
- 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings is preferred.
- Ability to work in your home store and travel to other locations within the market as needed.

- Compensation: $21.25 - $25.00 per hour.
