About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your didactic pharmacy school learning into real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap, gaining experience in store, district, and regional operations. This role focuses on supporting pharmacy teams to deliver safe, accurate, and caring service while preparing you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from the prescriber.
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as putting away deliveries or cycle counts, as permitted by law.
- Deliver additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, where supported by training and state regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
- Ability to pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
