About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world practice while preparing for a future career as a pharmacist. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap that covers store, district, and regional operations. This role focuses on developing your skills through hands-on experience and direct patient interaction.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and promptly.
- Follow company standard operating procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Demonstrate empathy and care when interacting with patients in person and over the phone.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by putting away deliveries and conducting cycle counts.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on key learning experiences.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to concentrate on tasks for extended periods and pivot between duties quickly.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to use math to solve pharmacy-related problems, such as calculating medication dosages and supply counts.

- Location: Parker, Colorado.
- This is a part-time, on-site, paid position with a rolling term.
