About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This is a part-time, paid position that offers hands-on experience in patient care, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients as part of the pharmacy team.
- Lead patient care programs to help customers manage their health.
- Manage customer service and inventory tasks.
- Support a team culture focused on caring and enthusiasm.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards.
What you'll need#
- You must be accepted into or currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- You need to possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure as required by state guidelines.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- The physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
