About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your academic learning to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap that covers store, district, and regional operations. This role is designed to prepare you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly.
- Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy and genuine care.
- Field medical questions and provide optimal care under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as putting away deliveries and performing cycle counts, as directed by pharmacy leadership.
- Support immunization services, including patient education and documentation, where permitted by law and supported by training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
- Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe.
- Ability to become immunization certified.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- This is a paid internship.
