About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship provides hands-on experience within the homebuilding industry. You will gain exposure to professional development and D.R. Horton business functions. The program includes project work, research, and departmental rotations to help you understand the homebuying process.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations in your assigned department, office, or field location.
- Assist with research, reporting, and administrative coordination.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to learn how the business functions.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations.
- Apply industry terminology and company policies to your daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university, entering your junior or senior year, or a recent graduate.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Real Estate, Human Resources, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime or travel if business needs require.
