About the role#
The Marketing Intern program provides hands-on experience and professional development within the homebuilding industry. You will gain exposure to our business functions and the homebuying process through project work, research, and departmental rotations. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations in your assigned department, office, or field location.
- Assist with research, reporting, administrative tasks, and coordination of business processes.
- Learn industry terminology, company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to support business operations.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations to explore career paths.
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner.
- Work overtime or travel for business needs when required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university as a junior or senior, or recent graduation.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, Human Resources, or other relevant fields.
- Interest in learning about career opportunities within D.R. Horton.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a professional team.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to varying work environments.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree may also be considered.

- Modality: This role supports on-site, remote, and hybrid work environments.
