About the role#
As a Material Data Management Intern, you will help ensure materials are available to meet customer demand. You will gain hands-on experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, and procurement operations. You will work alongside materials, procurement, and SIOP teams to improve processes and support data-driven decisions.
What you'll do#
- Analyze current supply chain and material management processes to recommend improvements.
- Review forecast and demand planning data to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor order books to identify unforecasted demand.
- Partner with procurement, planning, and operations teams to maintain a reliable flow of materials.
- Create and improve reporting tools, dashboards, and project tracking resources.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data and make fact-based recommendations.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with SAP preferred.
- Interest in supply chain planning, procurement, inventory management, or continuous improvement.
