About the role#
As an Industrial Design Co-op, you will work with designers, engineers, marketers, and sales professionals to develop new product and packaging concepts. You will gain hands-on experience across the product development lifecycle, from initial ideation to final presentation. This position is open to students pursuing a degree in Industrial Design.
What you'll do#
- Create sketches, renderings, physical mockups, and 3D models to communicate design concepts.
- Support product development projects through concept generation and design exploration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
- Design and produce 3D-printed models for concept evaluations.
- Build product pitch decks and presentation materials for internal and external audiences.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and workshops.
- Create 3D CAD models for product improvements and prototype tooling projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Design program.
- Experience with sketching and prototyping techniques.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly through visuals and presentations.
- Strong curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- Interest in working within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
