About the role#
The Roth Farm Student Worker provides care for livestock and assists with general farm operations. You will work on crop production and help maintain the farm facilities. This is a paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Care for livestock housed at the farm.
- Perform fieldwork for vegetables, small fruit, and row crops.
- Operate farm equipment and retail farm market tasks.
- Repair buildings and maintain farm equipment.
- Handle other farm duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student.
- You need authorization to work in the United States.
- A valid driver license is required.
- You should be reliable, attentive to detail, and willing to learn.
- The role involves physical work including lifting, walking, and working outdoors in various conditions.
