About the role#
This position supports the CS-180 Operating Systems course taught by Ethan Hall during the Fall 2026 term. You will work closely with the instructor to assist students and manage course administrative tasks. This is a paid, part-time student employment opportunity requiring 3 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Attend a majority of one of the class periods.
- Support students during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Grade programming homework assignments and quizzes.
- Track and report your hours worked.
- Assist the instructor with classroom setup, presentations, and other requested duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Successful completion of CS-180 with a grade of B or better.
- Good academic standing, meaning you are not on academic warning.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington. You must reside within the state of Washington to perform this work.
- Term: August 31 to December 2, 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Note: You may not work during any time when you have a class scheduled. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks requiring fine finger dexterity.
