    About the role#

    DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Teaching Assistant for CS-260 Computer Networks I for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports instructor Tony Rasa by assisting with classroom operations, grading, and student mentorship. You will work up to 10 hours per week.

    What you'll do#

    • Set up and tear down classroom equipment like tables and easels.
    • Grade student lab reports and assignments using provided guidelines.
    • Upload grades to Moodle.
    • Assist the instructor with classroom tasks and equipment troubleshooting.
    • Provide constructive feedback to students.
    • Track and report your hours worked.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen.
    • Successful completion of CS-260 with a grade of B or better.
    • Proven proficiency with course material and comfort with C/C++ and Socket Programming.
    • Strong communication skills and a professional approach to providing critiques.
    • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to helping fellow students succeed.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Redmond, Washington.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Term: August 31 to December 11, 2026.
    • Pay: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
    • Note: You must reside in Washington state. You cannot work during times when you are scheduled for a class.
