About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for CG-391-A during the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. You will work 6 hours per week assisting the instructor with classroom operations and student support. The role runs from August 31 to December 4, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Grade student assignments and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist students during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Maintain consistency and clarity in all grading reports.
- Help the instructor with equipment setup and lecture presentations.
- Track and report your hours worked accurately.
- Upload grades to Moodle and meet weekly with the instructor for feedback.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Successful completion of CG-391 with a grade of B or better.
- Proficiency with the course material and familiarity with Unreal Engine 5.
- Comfort with digital lighting concepts and the ability to provide professional critique.
- Strong communication skills and a reliable, punctual approach to your duties.

Location & details#
- This position is located in Redmond, Washington. You must reside in Washington State to be eligible.
- You cannot work during times when you have a scheduled class.
- The pay range is $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your previous terms worked at the institution.
