About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for the World Building course (DES-337-A) for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the instructor in the classroom, helps students during labs, and assists with grading. You will work between 5 and 10 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor with classroom setup and lecture operations.
- Facilitate student presentations during class time.
- Answer student questions and provide guidance during lab sessions.
- Pre-grade course assessments.
- Track and report your hours worked accurately.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for feedback.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Completion of DES-337 with a grade of B or better.
- Proven proficiency with the course material.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help other students learn.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington. You must reside in Washington to perform this work.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 to December 13).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your previous terms worked at the institution.
- Note: You cannot work during times when you have a scheduled class.
