About the role#
As an Advertising Sales Intern at DIRECTV, you will gain hands-on experience in the entertainment and advertising space. You will work with cross-functional teams on projects that impact how we deliver and monetize content. This is a 10-week summer internship program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on projects across focus areas including Brand and Product Marketing, Sales Marketing, Strategy, Product and Business Development, Data Analytics, and Ad Tech.
- Pull, analyze, and develop reports to track market health and campaign performance.
- Support system implementation through business analysis, testing, and process documentation.
- Contribute to Agile projects by testing new features and providing feedback.
- Research industry developments, attribution solutions, and media measurement methodologies.
- Create dashboards and summaries that translate data into recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Advertising, Business, Marketing, or Communications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Natural curiosity and strong attention to detail.
- Interest in working hands-on with systems, technology, and software development from a business perspective.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Modality: Hybrid (in-office 2 days per week).
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Compensation: $20 per hour for undergraduates and $28 per hour for graduate students.
- Eligibility: Full-time status with U.S. work authorization required. Sponsorship is not provided.
