About the role#
We are hiring a Social Media & Communications Student Worker to join the Student Experience and Admissions team. This part-time role focuses on digital storytelling and in-person engagement to share the student experience with prospective students. You will work 10 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Create content including photos, videos, stories, reels, and blogs for official social channels.
- Help plan and schedule posts using a content calendar.
- Monitor social media for engagement opportunities, mentions, and trends.
- Provide live coverage for campus events, tours, and special programs.
- Produce email campaigns, flyers, and announcements to promote student services.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in good academic standing.
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort appearing on camera and speaking to groups.
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Experience in graphic design, photography, or video editing is a plus.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
