About the role#
The Student Involvement Resource Center (SIRC) Staff serves as a front-facing presence for the Office of Student Involvement. This position supports campus engagement by managing resources, assisting with programming, and helping students connect with registered organizations. You will work up to 10 hours per week during the academic year, with occasional late night or weekend shifts required.
What you'll do#
- Welcome students, campus partners, and guests to the SIRC and Underground spaces.
- Design and distribute promotional materials such as flyers, banners, and social media content.
- Manage publicity runs and maintain bulletin boards across campus.
- Track the use of SIRC resources and keep an inventory of storage facilities.
- Monitor the Underground space to ensure it remains clean and functional.
- Support professional staff with department-sponsored events and programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at Dominican in a degree-seeking program.
- Eligibility for employment in the United States.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A reliable, creative, and flexible approach to work.
- A welcoming attitude toward new people and a commitment to inclusive spaces.
- Preference for students pursuing degrees in Communications, Media Studies, or Business Administration.

- This role is based on-site in River Forest, Illinois.
- The position is paid and follows a rolling application term.
