About the role#
This is a long-term, year-round co-op position based in Midland, Michigan. You will provide administrative support for the Consumer Solutions Process R&D organization. This role is designed for undergraduate students who can balance academic coursework with professional responsibilities. You will gain hands-on experience in a global organization while working alongside colleagues across various departments.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the Safety Admin for the department, including monthly reporting.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Enter purchase orders and provide file share or team room support.
- Schedule meetings and manage logistics like visitor passes and catering.
- Handle department errands and input work requests.
- Maintain building operations, including sorting mail, managing conference rooms, and organizing office or kitchen supplies.
- Update office records, such as occupancy reports, name tags, and keys.
- Provide backup support to other co-ops and the administrative team.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED and current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Ability to maintain at least 6 credit hours during fall and winter semesters.
- Ability to work legally in the United States. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Ability to live within 50 miles of the Midland, Michigan site.
Location & details#
- Location: Midland, Michigan.
- Modality: On-site, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
- Commitment: Minimum of 1 full calendar year, working at least 16 hours per week during standard business hours.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
