About the role#
As a Product Management Intern for the Specialty Additives business, you will contribute to a global data standardization initiative. This project supports the transition to a new M-ERP platform and improves the accuracy of product information used across commercial and operational systems. You will gain experience in product management, master data governance, and cross-functional project coordination.
What you'll do#
- Review, analyze, and standardize key SAP master data fields for Specialty Additives products.
- Update and maintain critical fields, including material descriptions and sales data text.
- Support data preparation, validation, and quality assurance for the M-ERP platform migration.
- Partner with the Segment Product Manager and Material Master Data Team to execute project objectives.
- Collaborate with global manufacturing sites to implement product updates and ensure consistency.
- Prepare and distribute Process Change Notification communications.
- Assist with relabeling efforts for existing inventory when product descriptions change.
- Develop tracking tools and reports to monitor project progress.
- Present findings and final results to business stakeholders and leadership teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically in managing large data sets and performing analysis.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Organizational and project management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Interest in product management, supply chain, business systems, or digital transformation is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, or data management concepts is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Friendly, West Virginia.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week) for 10-12 weeks between May and August.
- Status: Paid internship.
