About the role#
As a Quality Assurance / Quality Management Intern, you will support the digital transformation of our quality organization. You will work with Quality, Manufacturing, and Technical teams to improve product consistency and operational processes. This role offers exposure to laboratory information systems, enterprise resource planning platforms, and statistical quality methodologies within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the implementation and improvement of digital quality platforms and assist with testing, validation, and process mapping.
- Collect and analyze quality performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visual tools to communicate quality metrics.
- Assist with investigations into process variation, quality deviations, and recurring issues.
- Review procedures, work instructions, and quality records to ensure alignment with site requirements.
- Support document standardization projects and help improve document control practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product specifications across systems.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives.
- Create training documentation and user guides to support technology adoption.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Quality Systems, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in data-driven decision making.
- Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret technical data with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the internship.
Location & details#
- Location: Friendly, West Virginia, United States.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10-12 weeks between May and August).
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid internship ($22.00 - $26.00 per hour).
