About the role#
Duquesne University is hiring a Lifeguard for the Fall 2026 term. This is a part-time, on-site, paid position open to Kinesiology majors who have Federal Work-Study eligibility.
What you'll do#
- Monitor swimmers in the pool and on the pool deck.
- Verify IDs for individuals entering the pool area when an attendant is not on duty.
What you'll need#
- Current Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguarding certification.
- Current Red Cross or equivalent Standard First Aid certification.
- CPR for the professional rescuer certification.
