About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring six student assistants to serve as Recreation Operations Attendants at The WELL on the Sacramento State campus. This part-time position supports daily facility operations, member services, and event programming.
What you'll do#
- Monitor fitness and recreation areas through regular walkthroughs to enforce policies and check equipment.
- Act as the primary contact at service desks to assist members with questions, program registration, and merchandise sales.
- Manage equipment inventory by checking items in and out and keeping them clean and organized.
- Respond to injuries and emergencies by following the Building Emergency Action Plan and completing necessary reports.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of special events and program activities.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and support general operations, including laundry and equipment organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Sacramento State.
- Minimum of nine semester units for undergraduate students or six semester units for graduate students.
- Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.
- Ability to work a varied schedule with a minimum of two shifts per week, including potential nights, early mornings, and weekends.
- Majors including Business Administration, Communications, Kinesiology, Public Health, or Psychology are welcome to apply.
